Mane Focus Hair Salon’s owner, Chelsea Nasso, talks about how her journey from a dream to a thriving Savannah business was made possible through the strategic support of SBAC and SBDC. After struggling to secure traditional financing, SBAC guided them through the requirements and connected them with the SBDC to help prepare a business proposal and market analysis.
This support helped the salon secure a SBA Community Advantage Loan (CA) and expand from a solo operation to a full team at its new Eisenhower Drive location. Chelsea credits SBAC as a long-term champion for their success by providing resources, connections, and continuous encouragement.

Benefits of an SBA Community Advantage Loan (CA)
The SBA Community Advantage Loan (CA) is a high-impact financing solution designed to help small business owners, who may not qualify for traditional bank loans, obtain the capital they need to grow.
This program offers accessible funding, flexible terms, and the added benefit of guidance through technical support.
SBAC offers CA loans up to $350,000, and the funds can be used for everything from working capital to expansions, making it a versatile tool for building long-term stability.

November Technical Assistance (TA) Tip:
Manage Your Holiday Cash Flow
The holidays can boost sales but also strain cash.
One tangible step: create a weekly cash flow tracker. Track what’s coming in, what’s going out, and set aside enough to cover January’s slower season.
Strong cash management ensures your holiday success doesn’t turn into New Year’s stress.
