SBAC received donated shares from all the Savannah Regional Small Business Capital Fund’s (CAP Fund’s) shareholders: Bank of America, Truist, and Wells Fargo. Each bank donated 100% of its shares to SBAC to continue the 30-year-old Fund’s mission. (Read More)

Small Business Spotlight
Geneva's Famous Chicken and Cornbread, a cherished Savannah eatery, has been supported by SBAC since 1996. Owner Geneva Wade, returned to SBAC in 2018 to relaunch her restaurant, known for its homemade Southern dishes. With SBAC's assistance, she was able to open a new location and further expand her space in 2023 with a SBAC Direct Loan.
This expansion, along with SBAC's continued support, has contributed to the restaurant's success and ongoing growth in the community.
